provided to local, county and state agencies for the sole purpose of this Petition.  
WHEREAS, I am a resident within the Town of Brookhaven, County of Suffolk, State of New York, and hereby oppose the Town of
Brookhaven's composting operations at the Papermill Road Facility in Manorville; and,

WHEREAS, it is our belief that the odors emanating from composting sites negatively impact our quality of life, and constitute a
nuisance and hazard to the health, safety, and property of the residents of the Town of Brookhaven, County of Suffolk, State of
New York;

WHEREAS, the off site odors are detrimental to the safety of the public.

WHEREAS; the diesel fumes released from the heavy equipment are known carcinogens;

WHEREAS, the noise pollution which results from running a composting facility in a residential area devalues our homes;

NOW, THEREFORE, the above mentioned urgently requests and demands that the Town Board of the Town of Brookhaven,
County of Suffolk, State of New York, cease composting operations effective immediately at the Papermill Road Facility in the
Town of Manorville, County of Suffolk, State of New York.   My present place of residence is truly stated above.
