As quoted from Long Island Compost Corp.'s website:
- "Through this unique program, each participating farmer provides an acre of land for Long Island Compost Corp. to
develop into nutrient-rich compost. All that is required of the farmer is the use of his site. Long Island Compost Corp. manages the entire operation on the farm including testing, turning, and aerating the material. In return, these farmers receive an annual host fee as well as 500 cubic yards of free compost to use for their own farming and planting needs."
